They oversee the organization and preparation of models for quantity takeoffs, coordinate BIM instructions with preconstruction and operations teams, and facilitate regular BIM coordination. They also manage the preparation of coordination drawings and support the procurement of future projects while building client loyalty. The Virtual Design and Construction Field Detailer interfaces with field construction personnel to coordinate installation with VDC, audits installations for accuracy, and maintains documentation of each project. The Virtual Design and Construction Manager recruits, trains, and manages the VDC team, develops VDC standards and best practices, and manages VDC projects.
