Our Director of Virtual Design and Construction spearheads the development of processes and infrastructure essential for managing Virtual Design & Construction models across all construction projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely acquisition of virtual models, overseeing their organization for preconstruction quantity takeoffs, and facilitating effective BIM coordination among teams. Alongside, our VDC Field Detailers are on the ground, interfacing directly with field personnel to ensure installation accuracy according to approved designs and maintaining detailed records through project completion. The backbone of our operation, the VDC Manager, focuses on the strategic aspects—recruiting and training a skilled team, managing workload distribution, staying abreast of technology trends, and ensuring the seamless integration of VDC technologies into our projects. Supporting these positions, the VDC Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in scheduling, monitoring project progress, and maintaining communication between management and field teams.
