What duties do our Warehouse employees do at our IES Communications' Fairfax Branch?

As employees of our branch in Fairfax, the Fabrication Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the profit and loss of the warehouse, forecasting staffing needs, and overseeing internal orders, safety, quality, and tooling requirements. They also develop a CAD/BIM program for installation needs and coordinate delivery schedules. The Materials Operation Specialist is responsible for packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, as well as conducting daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, and auditing materials. They also manage inventory counts, maintain the warehouse facility, and operate forklifts and company vehicles. The Warehouse Assistant assists with packaging, labeling, and logging activities, conducts inventory counts, and maintains warehouse quality. They may also operate forklifts and company vehicles, and work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
