What duties do our Warehouse employees do at IES Communications' Iowa Branches?

At our Iowa branches, our team members play crucial roles in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Our Fabrication Warehouse Managers are at the helm, overseeing P&L, forecasting staffing needs, and managing internal orders to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. They coordinate closely with Operations teams, develop a VDC program for installation support, and meticulously manage schedules and tooling needs through Gantt charts and Capex forecasts. Meanwhile, our Materials Operation Specialists and Warehouse Assistants are the backbone of daily operations, handling everything from packaging, labeling, and inventory management to operating forklifts and maintaining warehouse standards according to 5S and Lean principles. Together, they work tirelessly to maintain inventory accuracy, fulfill orders, and uphold our commitment to excellence in every task, ensuring that all IES-owned tools and materials are accounted for and ready for use across our Iowa locations.
