What duties do our Helpdesk employees do at our IES Communications' Albuquerque Branch?

At our Albuquerque branch, our Helpdesk Administrator and Lead Helpdesk Administrator roles are crucial to the seamless operation of IES's IT infrastructure. Our team is dedicated to setting up and maintaining basic network operations, ensuring devices for all employees are correctly configured, and providing both first and second level telephone support for any arising issues. We handle a wide range of hardware including Dell and Cisco servers, Lenovo and Dell desktops and laptops, HP printers, and various copiers, alongside Cisco network equipment and VOIP phone systems. Our responsibilities extend to installing and testing necessary software and hardware, upgrading network printing and directory structures, and identifying opportunities to improve support processes. We're committed to responding promptly to user needs, following strict privacy policies, completing regular database maintenance, and keeping accurate inventory records. Additionally, we monitor system backups and ensure all company communication systems are operational. With occasional travel required to support remote sites and the capability to provide after-hours remote support, our team embodies flexibility and dedication in supporting IES’s technological backbone.
