What duties do our Warehouse employees do at our IES Communications' San Francisco Branch?
As our employees in San Francisco, the Fabrication Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the profit and loss of the warehouse, forecasting and managing staffing needs, and overseeing internal orders, safety, quality, and tooling requirements. They will also develop a VDC (CAD/BIM) program to support installation needs, manage installation schedules through a Gantt chart, and maintain tooling and inventory management. Additionally, they will coordinate deliverables with the Operation teams and develop a national logistical delivery plan. The Materials Operation Specialist will be responsible for packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, as well as completing daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, auditing, and issuing materials. They will conduct cycle-counts of inventory, enter material into the IES Inventory database, and maintain warehouse quality. They will also operate forklifts and company vehicles, work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles, and efficiently carry out assigned tasks. The Warehouse Assistant will assist with packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, as well as completing daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, auditing, and issuing materials.
