What duties do our Warehouse employees do at our IES Communications' Huntsville Branch?
As our employees in Huntsville, the Fabrication Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the profit and loss (P&L) of the warehouse. They will forecast and manage staffing needs, develop and manage internal orders, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and forecast capital expenditures for tooling needs. They will also coordinate deliverables with the Operations teams, develop a CAD/BIM program to support installation needs, and manage installation schedules using Gantt charts. Additionally, they will be responsible for tooling and inventory management, as well as developing an effective national logistical delivery plan. The Materials Operation Specialist will be responsible for packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory accurately. They will complete daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, auditing, and issuing materials, as well as conducting cycle counts and managing inventory logs. They will also maintain the IES facility, track all owned tools, report damaged inventory, and operate forklifts and company vehicles. The Warehouse Assistant will assist in packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, as well as completing daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, and auditing materials. They will also conduct cycle counts, manage inventory logs, and maintain warehouse quality. The Warehouse Assistant may operate forklifts and company vehicles and will work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
