What will you do as a Software Tester at our IES Communications' Houston Branch?
As a Junior Tester at our Houston branch, your duties will include documenting test cases, executing them, and reporting any identified issues. You will also be responsible for verifying fixes and maintaining test documentation, as well as working with the development team to identify defects and participating in the software development life cycle. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development process, identify departmental needs, and report to management as appropriate. Other responsibilities will include troubleshooting and guiding others on a wide variety of complex problems, coordinating new development activities, managing routine and special projects, overseeing and providing guidance to peers, and reporting staff productivity on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. You will also review test plans, participate in system testing activities, perform user acceptance testing (UAT), conduct training for stakeholders, and report to the developers if any error occurs.
