What will you do as an Office Manager at our IES Communications' Cedar Rapids Branch?

As an Office Manager in our Cedar Rapids branch, your duties will include analyzing and researching files, spreadsheets, flow logs, reports, and tracking material. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining job books/files, developing reports for manufacturer's rebates and certifications, and reviewing and authorizing the ordering of office supplies, equipment, and furniture. Additionally, you will evaluate time sheets, expense and mileage reports for reimbursement, make travel arrangements, and oversee the branch petty cash/checkbook. You will coordinate sales meetings and training for the Sales Department, calculate sales quotas and incentives, and prepare sales reports. Supervising the receptionist, fielding customer sales calls, and performing backup receptionist duties when needed will also be part of your role. As an Office Support Manager, you will have similar responsibilities, including analyzing and researching files, spreadsheets, flow logs, reports, and tracking material. You will establish and maintain job books/files, manage division support staff, and drive proactive approaches and reporting related to billing, procurement, job openings/contracts, and document control. You will also be responsible for division process analysis and improvement, as well as division process flow development. Both roles require experience, judgment, creativity, flexibility, and the ability to plan and accomplish goals.
