What will you do as a Collections at our IES Communications' Washington Branch?

In our Washington branch, our Collections Specialists and Credit and Collections Supervisors play crucial roles in maintaining the financial health of IES. Our Collections Specialists are dedicated to managing outbound collection calls with a focus on preserving and enhancing customer relationships, ensuring documentation is provided when necessary, and resolving billing issues promptly to keep accounts receivable current. They work closely with our operations team to address any outstanding matters swiftly, aiming for resolution while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Meanwhile, our Credit and Collections Supervisors oversee the management and setup of new customer accounts, support accurate daily cash postings, and conduct regular analytical reviews of AR metrics. Their hands-on approach supports AR collection efforts, monthly DSO divisional reporting, and monitoring of customer credit limits. Together, they form a formidable team that liaises between Finance and Business units, contributing significantly to our branch's monthly financial reporting process and overall operational efficiency.
