Project Overview

A leading, privately held commercial real estate investment, development and management company envisioned a transformative AV experience for the lobby of its new 642,000-square-foot Class AA commercial office tower.

To make that vision a reality, the company selected IES Communications to integrate a world-class technology solution that would create a memorable, immersive experience for tenants and visitors.

The dramatic, corner-wrapping interactive video wall serves as the lobby’s sensory focal point and has become an instantly recognizable feature of the property. It also provides a model for organizations seeking to create memorable, large-scale AV experiences.

Interactive Immersion

Measuring 47 feet long and 26 feet high, the motion-responsive Planar video wall is now the largest indoor interactive video wall in one of America's largest cities.

The wall presents four distinct, continuously evolving ‘worlds,’ each with three visual states that mark the passage of time. Its content responds as people approach or pass by. The video wall also functions as a live media display, supporting customized content, guest welcome screens, or other programmed media.

As a complete technology integrator specializing in AV, cabling, security, wireless networks, and related systems, IES Communications synchronized the video wall with adjacent building systems, including access control, environmental lighting, and digital signage, to support consistent and reliable transitions between programmed states and live content.
