Project Overview

When a major Native American casino and integrated resort decided to transform its signature Grand Ballroom, they turned to IES Communications to meet the challenge of blending cultural heritage with advanced technology to create a new level of functionality and versatility within one of America's largest casino/resorts. The result was a stunning overhaul of its showcase room — a premier event space comprising more than 30,000+ square feet.

The Process

To support the design and installation of this advanced AV system, IES Communications first developed system specifications and a coordination plan. The primary focus was the installation of a 70-foot-wide dvLED video wall to serve as the space’s focal point, along with three 10-by-10-foot LED panels to support pre-event branding, cultural storytelling, and live event programming.

We equipped the space with broadcast-level AV distribution supported by new audio headends, racks, amplifiers, signal-routing equipment, and digital processors. We also installed overhead paging speakers with wiring routed back to centralized headends. IES Communications deployed a large-scale Crestron control system to provide centralized management of video, audio, and environmental settings, allowing seamless operation across the ballroom and adjoining sections.

The Results

The complete renovation has given this leading casino/resort nearly 150 feet of dvLED display surfaces and a broadcast-ready AV infrastructure capable of supporting small meetings as well as large-scale productions accommodating more than 3,000 guests.

Today, these systems create unforgettable, immersive experiences with dynamic content delivery while supporting cultural storytelling through integrated displays — and in the words of the casino/resort's president, successfully reflect the mission of creating a truly "special" place that combines deep cultural significance with modern technological excellence.
