Project Overview

When a world-renowned music entertainment company needed a new West Coast headquarters to house its most successful and iconic record labels and operations, it turned to the experts at IES Communication to bring it to life.

A former automobile factory — a sprawling, five-story building spanning 257,000 square feet and an entire city block — was selected as the site, with the project centered on renovating and transforming this historic space into a multimedia-ready global entertainment headquarters.

A Historic Landmark, Modernized

IES Communications provided and installed the AV and cabling infrastructure needed to support all offices, workstations, intercoms, displays, wireless access points, security cameras, and speakers for the company’s headquarters.

The AV infrastructure also included high-definition video displays, an indoor/outdoor speaker system, and touch panels in conference rooms, artist lounges, writers’ rooms, the fitness center, the game room, executive offices, the pantry, and the building’s unique ‘paseo’ section. Dolby Atmos high-fidelity listening rooms were installed to support professional-grade recording, editing, and audio production for visiting artists.

In addition, our experts designed and delivered comprehensive video conferencing solutions for four conference rooms, enabling seamless video communication with the company’s East Coast headquarters, and beyond — a testament to our ability to infuse cutting-edge connectivity within any building, even one more than 100 years old.
