What will you do as a System Administrator at our IES Communications' Denver Branch?
As our employees in Denver, Junior System Administrators are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, networks, and related hardware and software. They assist IT Technicians in preparing devices for end users and provide first and second level telephone support and problem resolution. Junior System Administrators identify and resolve computer system malfunctions, perform diagnostics of system issues, and provide support to the IT team. They also provide remote IT support with remote control software and maintain server and endpoint protection, backups, updates, and other maintenance. Additionally, they participate in IT-related projects and configure servers for new deployments under the direction of senior staff. They assist in the administration and maintenance of IP-based telephony systems and perform other assigned responsibilities. Similarly, System Administrators ensure that company standards, policies, and procedures are followed. They install, configure, and maintain computers, networks, and related hardware and software, and assist Helpdesk Administrators in preparing devices for end users. System Administrators provide second and third level telephone support and problem resolution, identify and resolve computer system malfunctions, and perform diagnostics of network issues. They provide support to the IT team and offer remote IT support using remote control software. Hardware supported includes Lenovo servers, Lenovo and Dell desktops and laptops, HP printers, various copiers, and various network equipment. System Administrators provide network, PC, and software technical support to users, respond to their needs and questions regarding network resource access, and perform network troubleshooting. They configure network devices for new deployments and assist in the administration and maintenance of IP-based telephony systems. System Administrators also assist the IT team in server maintenance and carry out other assigned responsibilities.
