At our Irvine branch, our Fleet Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and growth of our fleet. This individual is tasked with anticipating needs for vehicle ordering, upfitting, and delivery to prevent any disruptions in business operations. They are responsible for managing maintenance and repairs in collaboration with our partnered fleet management company, always looking for solutions to keep fuel and repair costs within budget. Our Fleet Manager also keeps a close eye on vehicle utilization through telematics solutions and conducts annual audits to assess the condition of all vehicles, prioritizing replacements as needed. A significant part of their job involves maintaining strong relationships with key vendors, including fleet management companies, OEMs, upfitters, dealer networks, and other partners, focusing on vendor relations, cost negotiations, and addressing any driver complaints. They're constantly researching innovative methods and vendors to enhance our fleet's operation and performance, such as exploring electric vehicle solutions, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards like DOT and EPA.
