What duties do our Sales employees do at our IES Communications' Tempe Branch?
Our branch in Tempe is currently seeking a Sales Tax Compliance Specialist who will provide support to internal customers for tax-related issues. This individual will be responsible for reviewing tax certificates and/or tax packages for accuracy and completeness, as well as conducting tax research and providing interpretation and application of tax rules. They will also act as a liaison between the tax department and outside service providers or external vendors, and will stay updated on changes in tax legislation, rulings, regulations, and litigation that may impact the business. Additionally, the Sales Tax Compliance Specialist will handle requests from Operations and Sales regarding specific tax questions and provide guidance as needed, while also recommending and implementing compliance process improvements to increase efficiencies and reduce tax exposure.
