This individual is tasked with anticipating vehicle needs, planning for timely ordering, upfitting, and delivery to support our culture of rapid growth. They manage maintenance and repairs in partnership with fleet management companies while developing solutions to keep fuel and repair costs within acceptable limits. By tracking vehicle utilization through telematics solutions and conducting annual audits, they assess the condition of all vehicles, prioritizing replacements as necessary. The Fleet Manager also plays a crucial role in managing relationships with key vendors, including fleet management companies, OEMs, upfitters, dealer networks, and other partners, focusing on vendor relations, cost control, and addressing driver complaints.
