What will you do as a Project Controller at our IES Communications' Des Moines Branch?
As our employees in Des Moines, the Project Controllers play a critical role in supporting project managers with budget development and chart of accounts for each project. They are responsible for tracking job costs from start to completion and forecasting total billing costs for project managers and clients. Additionally, they ensure contract compliance, assist in the resolution of open items with customers, and work closely with timekeepers, payroll, and other project control employees. It is beneficial for them to have experience with MS Project or P6 Primavera and the ability to read and understand project schedules and logic, as well as knowledge of cost and resource loaded project schedules. Other duties as assigned by the manager are also part of their responsibilities.
