In our Eugene branch, the Document Control Specialist role focuses on creating and managing computer-generated labels using templates, manipulating documents through PDF software, generating job numbers, filing documents according to company standards, and supporting the CAD and Sales/Marketing teams among other duties. Meanwhile, the Document Control Supervisor in Eugene not only masters all tasks of a Document Control Specialist but also develops and updates control procedures, ensures consistent document management across projects, liaises with manufacturers for software updates, coordinates with internal teams for document requirements, oversees training, maintains document sets, implements management procedures for document flows, provides progress reports to management, enforces confidentiality, acts as a bridge between Operations and the Document Control team, guides the team towards task completion, suggests improvements for processes, and handles interviews, training, and performance reviews for new hires.
