What will you do as a Travel Manager at our IES Communications' Raleigh Branch?
The Travel Manager in our Raleigh branch is responsible for hiring, training, managing, and supervising travel staff, as well as providing guidance and mentoring to meet company goals and objectives. They update travel policies, negotiate vendor pricing, arrange company sponsored events, ensure accurate expense reporting, assist with travel arrangements, maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit, and handle issues in the best interest of both the customer and the company. They also ensure necessary approvals for vehicle use, provide travel information to co-employees and managers, reserve tickets and plan accommodations and transportation, maintain travel records, and work with representatives from AMEX and Concur to ensure efficient travel processes.
