What will you do as a Project Coordinator at our IES Communications' Charlotte Branch?
As employees in our branch in Charlotte, our Project Coordinators play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and cooperation with the Project Manager and other team members. They are responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring weekly updates, as well as managing workload distribution and monitoring customer delivery and job installation progress. Additionally, they review and upload test results, physically measure rooms to ensure accuracy, and perform miscellaneous project engineering tasks tied to schedule maintenance. They also coordinate with Project Management and Leads/Superintendents to create and maintain a calendar for project implementation to completion. Our Project Coordinators are self-sufficient problem solvers who can handle multiple projects simultaneously and work with little or no supervision. They assist the program accounting department by spot checking labor, material, other-expenses, and subcontractor costs, and analyze cost and resource graphs to verify schedule progress and identify any issues. They are proficient in creating, correcting, and revising complex Excel spreadsheets, tables, charts, and graphs, and perform reporting audits for accuracy and overall delivery. They maintain program level dashboards, input, data acquisition, and collection, and provide all necessary elements to the Project Manager for issuing weekly and monthly reports. They are also willing to take on periodic changes of duties upon request and assist in project closeout.
