What duties do our Audio Visual employees do at our IES Communications' Los Angeles Branch?
In our Los Angeles branch, we're proud to have a dedicated team of professionals across various roles in the audiovisual (AV) field. Our AV Designers are at the forefront, crafting tailored solutions for our clients by reviewing site surveys and producing advanced designs that include everything from control flow diagrams to comprehensive system integration documents. They work closely with clients, installation teams, and vendors to ensure technical design solutions meet high standards. On the ground, our AV Field Engineers I & II and Senior AV Field Engineers offer unparalleled support, troubleshooting equipment problems, commissioning audio systems, and ensuring project installations are executed flawlessly. They possess an in-depth understanding of system drawings, specifications, and can adeptly handle both DSP program manipulation and IP addressable devices configuration. Meanwhile, our AV Programmers write source code for commercial AV systems, developing user interfaces that align with our standards and project scopes, providing remote support to field engineers. The backbone of our projects, our Audio Visual Project Managers and Superintendents, manage all aspects of our projects from staff recruitment and training to maintaining project profitability and customer satisfaction. Lastly, our Audio Visual Technical Manager oversees AV9000 project certification and ensures compliance and training among our staff, aiming for operational excellence and maximum efficiency.
