What will you do as a Purchasing Specialist at our IES Communications' Mesa Branch?
As our employees in Mesa, the Purchasing Specialists are responsible for entering purchasing information into the accounting system, ensuring accurate GL codes and project numbers are assigned, ordering and accounting for materials used on job sites, researching and resolving Invoice/PO discrepancies, coordinating returns and credit memos, assisting with processing vendor returns, preparing purchase orders, verifying specifications and price, obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items, obtaining approval from appropriate managers, entering inventory, material and labor transfers into the accounting system, self-managing assigned workload distribution, creating, developing, implementing, and revising project process improvements, serving as a back-up for the front desk, and performing other responsibilities as assigned.
