What will you do as a Safety Trainer at our IES Communications' El Mirage Branch?
As employees of IES in El Mirage, our Safety Trainers are responsible for fully supporting all safety policies, procedures, programs, and federal and state standards, ensuring compliance with IES Safety policies, and providing trade-related safety training in the classroom through hands-on demonstrations, presentations, and tests. They also identify training programs to address competency gaps, track and report on training outcomes, conduct training classes using various methods, administer exams, and evaluate trainees' performance. Additionally, they deliver safety training to management and field personnel, prepare reports and summaries, conduct safety audits and investigations, and mentor stakeholders to uphold the IES Safety Culture. The Safety Trainer and Program Coordinator also coordinate safety activities, develop safety action plans, review applications, and assist in the development of short- and long-term plans for the safety program.
