What duties do our PMO employees do at our IES Communications' Montgomery Branch?
At our branch in Montgomery, the Project Management Office Program Manager is responsible for creating, developing, and implementing process improvements in project management operations that align with the Company's financial goals. They assist in recruitment, hiring, and training recommendations for project management staff, as well as reviewing recommendations for promotions and pay changes. They provide guidance and mentoring to meet Company goals and objectives, monitor project financial health, and intervene when necessary to improve negatively impacted projects. Additionally, they monitor branch operations and compliance metrics, assist in project execution planning, and manage multiple scopes of work. They also act as a liaison with customers and support all Company EHS processes and procedures.
The Project Management Office Systems Lead, also based in Montgomery, serves as the point of contact and subject matter expert for the Service Now platform. They perform system administration tasks, including documentation control, and manage system development, design, engineering, architecture, networking, and configuration. They oversee system rollout, training, and usage monitoring for all IES branches and departments, as well as troubleshoot and fix system issues. They lead future functionality and system development, conduct process evaluations, and work closely with internal clients and external vendors/partners to identify functional requirements. They also identify problems, prepare presentations, and implement solutions for multiple applications within multiple functions. Additionally, they coordinate new development activities, drive automation opportunities, and manage routine and special projects. They report individual productivity, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and prepare Business Requirements documents. They also perform user acceptance testing, conduct training, and report errors to developers.
