What will you do as a Data Center Technician at one of IES Communications' Oregon Branches?

At our Oregon branches, our Data Center Technicians across levels I, II, III, and the Lead position play crucial roles in ensuring the smooth operation of data centers through meticulous execution of Moves/Adds/Changes (MACs), hardware installation, support work orders, and asset management. They maintain a safe and secure environment, adhere to strict documentation and compliance protocols, and provide smart-hands assistance to meet various customer needs within specified SLA response times, including on-call duties as necessary. Our team members are not only responsible for the physical health of the data center, including general cleaning and inspections for power, cooling, and hazards but also contribute to process improvements, coordinate equipment logistics, and uphold site security and data protection procedures, demonstrating their commitment to excellence and continuous learning in supporting our infrastructure and client requirements.
