What will you do as a Data Center Technician at one of IES Communications' Nevada Branches?

In Nevada, our dedicated team of Data Center Technicians across all levels plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our data centers. Our Level I technicians focus on executing scheduled moves, adds, changes (MACs), hardware installations, and ensuring secure and compliant media storage management. Progressing to Level II, they take an advanced approach by not only continuing these tasks but also coordinating equipment/material handling and providing essential vendor and security escorts. Our Level III technicians elevate the role further by leveraging their deeper understanding of server/network components and infrastructure management tools, contributing significantly to process improvements and operating procedures. At the pinnacle, our Lead Data Center Technicians coordinate all scheduled MACs, oversee asset auditing, and ensure adherence to industry standards and certifications, playing a pivotal role in driving forward our commitment to quality and reliability in the Nevada region. Together, our teams embody dedication and expertise, ensuring that our data centers operate smoothly and securely, meeting the high expectations of our clients and the stringent demands of the industry.
