What will you do as a Data Center Technician at one of IES Communications' Iowa Branches?

In our Iowa branches, we're proud to have a dedicated team of Data Center Technicians spanning Levels I through III and Lead positions. Each member plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of data centers, from executing scheduled Moves/Adds/Changes (MACs) and providing smart-hands assistance across various sites to maintaining rigorous security protocols and managing asset tracking diligently. Our technicians are equipped with strong working knowledge in server and network hardware, as well as data center infrastructure management tools, enabling them to tackle tasks ranging from hardware support work orders to coordinating equipment installation and delivery schedules efficiently. Beyond technical expertise, our team's commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant operating environment underscores our collective responsibility towards upholding the highest standards of service availability, performance, and capacity utilization for our customers.
